The owners who run this place are very unprofessional and unaccommodating... I am a server who used to work for Mike and Nancy and it was a complete nightmare!! Mike sits at the bar and drinks wine while he is working or stands right in the way at the small service area at the bar with a glass of wine in his hand where the servers try to pick up there drinks. He will not move out of the way so servers can do there job a & is terrible towards his employees as he constantly degrades them and asking them if they are new (meaning stupid). The way he talks to his employees is disgusting!! ..He is so arrogant that he has no respect for anyone but himself. I have seen Mike (the owner) pour water all over this gentleman who was there for a special occasion with his family (party of 9 0r 10 and although it was an accident the only thing Mike did for his mishap was to remove a few pops from this gentlemens' bill. The poor guy had to sit through his whole evening soaking wet. In fact i remember the server telling me after they took his order that as they were taking his order they saw water still running down from his neck. A few pops that is just insulting and a definite sign of how much Mike cares about his guests. Nancy (the other owner) refused to set up a table for a reso that turned out to be 9 instead of 7 people and there was only 1 other table in the restaurant at the time. It would of been a easy fix as I and all other servers set up tables of 9 with ease and Nancy was too inconvenienced to make it happen for the guests. They ended up having to sit at 2 different tables and the bill was over $600. That is the thanks the guests received for spending their hard earned money at 20 Hobson Street. Mike has made the busgirls cry (who are 15yrs old)on more than one occasion, has come into the kitchen drunk and yelled at and fired a young man for no reason at all and Mike the owners favorite saying is "if the customers dont' like it they can go somewhere else". The food is good but the owners are terrible people...Please do not support this place as they couldnt' careless about you, just your money!!! ..More Reviews
